The lights turn on and I wake up out of nothingness.
What is this place? How did I get here? Why am I here? Who am I?
Many hopes, many wishes, many beliefs.
But all that can be known is that whatever begins has an end.
Life goes on, and the light begins to fade.
I want to continue. I want to live on. But I know that the end is near.
I thought I would be feeling fear. But when the time comes, there is no fear.
Only gratefulness. I am grateful for the life that I have lived.
I have cherished this life, because it is all that I have.
One last smile, and then the line goes flat. The light fades away.
The nothingness I once was I have once again become.
I’m actually ok with being proselytized to as long as it’s by private indivuals and not the government. But there seems to be this new movement where you’re sort of getting tricked into being proselytized to. I think Christians learned this tactic from spam emails. For instance, a few months ago a guy handed me a “million dollar bill” as I was walking down on the street. Then I later find that it’s not just fake money, but that there’s a bunch of bible crap subtely hidden on the bill trying to convert everybody. Then there’s Christian songs that sound like rock . . . but once you listen to the lyrics it’s nonstop Christian preaching. Then there are businesses that serve you food, and after you’re done eating your meal, you see a lovely “believe in Jesus or go to hell” sticker in the food container. It’s just like getting an email… Read More
This blog is now up purely for the purpose of food for thought in regards to atheist stereotyping, as going over the event with my friend has turned up two different recollections. As I already said in this blog, I was literally shocked at what my friend said because I never would have thought my friend to believe such a thing. And now my friend is telling me that they never made such a comment, and I believe them. So the story itself I will call a misunderstanding, but I still think that the issue the story raises is one that is still food for thought. So please read on with the knowledge that the actual event never occured.
So the other day I was hanging out with a friend of mine. We were watching this episode of Wife Swap, and in this particular episode, an atheist… Read More

So I watched the premiere of “America’s Got Talent” the other day and I just wanted to speak out my disagreement with a lot of the decisions that the judges made. First of all, I don’t think singers should even be allowed in the competition. I mean granted singing is an amazing talent, but don’t singers have enough reality tv shows already?!? I’m glad to finally see some new forms of entertainment, and I’m dissapointed that for every singer that the judges pass, that’s one less unique act that’s kicked off. Second of all, that cow guy totally should have passed!!! A cow doing a spinning head stand and squirting the judges with its milk?!? Common! If that’s not entertainment, I don’t know what is!
