Discrimination is loosely defined as unfair treatment of a person or group based on prejudice. This I most definitely do not think of myself as doing and if any of you detect me doing such a thing, please bring it to my attention. I’d say because we secretly know deep down inside that this is all just what we want to believe as opposed to what we know to be true. But I disagree. Churches seem to be filling up just as much as in the past. It’s the culture of churches that’s changing. Now that society is losing their attention span and has more tools for procrastination than ever before(tv, computer, phone, game system, etc.), the churches need to find new ways of attracting people so that they can get more money in the basket. So today I bought 20 shares of news corp (nws), the owners of myspace, for $20p/s. The stock has been steadily going up at around a point a month. So lastnight I went with see Pirates of the Caribbean with Carrie, and we got there way early, so it was the perfect oppurtunity for me to flip open my phone and slingbox to my tivo at home and Carrie and I watched some Jackass before the previews started. THEN today my tivo downloaded all these new features that not only make it even easier to find programs i wanna record, they also have this new tivocast feature, where you tell it what product reviews and movie trailers and cooking tips and so on you want to download from the internet, and boom, right there in your playing list.
